Dr. Lucas Garibaldi is a professor, researcher, and director of the Institute of Natural Resources, Agroecology, and Rural Development (UNRN/CONICET). His research focuses mainly on agroecology, pollination, and nature’s contribution to humans. He works closely with policymakers, producers, and consumers to demonstrate, through various science-based activities, some of the changes we can make to simultaneously promote biodiversity, healthy food production, and people’s quality of life. Dr. Garibaldi has authored or co-authored 165 articles, many of which have been published in widely recognized scientific journals (e.g., Science, Nature, Ecology Letters, Proceedings of the Royal Society B., TREE, PNAS).
